Question: From where did the 10 Horns come from?
Answer: From the 4th Beast of Daniel 7

DANIEL 2 AND 7
The Metallic Man in Daniel 2 and the four beasts in Daniel 7 referred to the same thing, i.e. they referred to the Babylonian, Medes-Persian, Greek and the Roman Empires (Daniel 7:3-8).
The reasons why they corresponded to each other were the followings:
(i) The 1st Beast was like a lion and had eagle’s wings. Wings plucked off. Lion stood up like a man. Man’s heart was given to it. This described King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4).
(ii) The 2nd Beast was like a bear and rose up on one side. This means one part of the kingdom was greater than the other. It described the Medes-Persian Empire where the Persian side was greater than Medes.
(iii) The 3rd Beast was like a leopard and had 4 wings and 4 heads. After Alexander the Great died, the Greek Empire split into 4 regions headed by 4 Generals (Daniel 8:20-22).
(iv) The 4th Beast was an unnamed dreadful beast. It was diverse from the other 3 beasts. In fact, there was no likeness of such a beast on the earth. It had huge iron teeth. This beast had 10 Horns. A little horn came up among the 10 Horns. When it came up, 3 of the horns were plucked out by their roots. The little horn had man’s eyes and mouth speaking pompous words.
Question: The 10 Horns on the 4th Beast of Daniel 7 referred to the Roman Empire represented by the Legs of Iron but the 10 Toes were located on the Feet. How could they be referring to the same thing?
Answer: The 4th Beast was an unnamed complex beast. As it represented the Roman Empire this means the Roman Empire was a complex empire. Why was it unnamed? It was “more than meets the eye” meaning this empire went through transformation or metamorphosed at different stages, and then took on different forms. Hence, the 4th Beast represented the legs, feet and the 10 toes, made up of different materials. And the 10 Horns corresponded to the 10 Toes of Iron & Clay.

Daniel 7:11-12
1) In Daniel 7:11, which beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame? And when did that happened?
2) In Daniel 7:12, the rest of the beasts had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
(a) Who were the rest of the beasts?
(b) What was meant by “their dominion taken away”?
(c) What was meant by “their lives were prolonged for a season and a time”?
Although the 4th Beast was destroyed it must be revived, as the story did not end there since it was said that the rest of the beasts still lived or their lives were prolonged. The end will only come when Christ destroys all the 4 Beasts or the whole Metallic Man (Dan.2:34-35; 44-45).

Revival of the 4th Beast After it was Destroyed (Daniel 7:11-12)

In Daniel 2 & 7 the empires of men were shown individually and described separately one from the other. Hence, we shall call them Individual Empire Beasts. However, in Revelation13:1-10; 17:10-14 those same empires of men were brought together and they collectively were represented by a single beast – a Beast with 7 Heads & 10 Horns. Hence, we shall call this the Corporate Empire Beast.
The Corporate Empire Beast (Rev.13:2) clearly displayed that it represented multiple empires:
i) It looked like a leopard, the same beast
identified as Greek Empire (Dan.7:6)
ii) Its feet like a bear, the same beast identified as Medes-Persian Empire (Dan.7:5)
iii) Its mouth like a lion, the same beast identified as Babylonian Empire (Dan.7:4).
The Corporate Empire Beast having 7 heads that represent 7 kings (Rev.17:10-11). The 7 kings must be kings representing 7 empires, that is, they are not 7 kings within a single empire because this is the Corporate Empire Beast, not an Individual Empire Beast.
Who are the 7 Heads or 7 Kings or 7 Empires?
The 7 Empires were empires that impacted the Jews; and it begun with:
(1) Egyptian Empire
(2) Assyrian Empire
(3) Babylonian Empire (Daniel’s time)
(4) Medes-Persian Empire
(5) Greek Empire
(6) Roman Empire (Apostle John’s time)
--------------------------------500 years gap
(7) Revived Roman Empire (The present time)
(8) Anti-Christ Empire
From Apostle John’s perspective, 5 empires have fallen, 1 empire is, and the other empire has not yet come (Rev.17:10).
Then, during the 500 years gap something happened to the Beast with 7 Heads & 10 Horns: “that it was, and is not, and yes is” (Rev.17:8). The beast disappeared but then later re-appeared or revived.
Revelation 17:11 – When the beast “that was and is not” re-appeared, it came back as the 8th Head (Antichrist Empire). And this 8th Head (Antichrist Empire) is of the same status as all the 7 Heads (7 Empires).
Now understand that:
i) Included within the Corporate Empire Beast of 7 Heads & 10 Horns was the 4th unnamed dreadful Beast that metamorphosed.
ii) That the 4th unnamed dreadful Beast ALONE was destroyed (Daniel 7:11-12). This means that the beast “that was and is not” actually referred only to the 4th unnamed dreadful Beast that was destroyed and not to the WHOLE Beast of 7 Heads & 10 Horns. If the whole beast was destroyed then, it’s the end of the story right there.
iii) As the 4th unnamed dreadful Beast was ONE of the 7 Heads, then the “head that was mortally wounded and was healed” (Revelation 13:3) must be referring to that 4th Beast.
The Anti-Christ and His Empire
1) The 10 Toes of the Metallic Man, 10 Horns of the 4th Beast and 10 Horns of the Beast with 7 Heads all refer to the same thing. They break-out and spread-out from the Old Roman Empire via the Revived Roman Empire. [Note: without the feet there will no toes, and without the heads there will be no horns].
Thus, they are not confining within the European Continent but branches-out to encompass the whole world.
2) They represent 10 kings (Dan.2:42-44; 7:24; Rev.17:12). Each of the 10 kings is a leader of a region of the world [Refer to the Map of the 10 Regions].
3) At the appointed time, the Anti-Christ beast will receive the combine support from the 10 kings in order to rule the world. However, their support will last only “one hour” i.e. for a short time (Rev.17:12-13).
4) From among the 10 Horns, the Anti-Christ is represented by the Little Horn who also will arise from the Roman Empire via the Revived Roman Empire (Dan.7:8, 20, 24-25).
[i] In Daniel 7, the Anti-Christ is represented by the Little Horn who speaks pompous words against the Most High God and persecutes the saints.
[ii] In Revelation 13, the Anti-Christ is represented by the 7 Heads & 10 Horns Beast who blaspheme the Most High God and persecutes the saints (Rev.13:5-8).
[iii] In Revelation 17, the Anti-Christ is represented by the 8th Head of the Beast and the focus is on the Empire of the Anti-Christ. Through the 10 Horns or 10 Kings of his Empire, the Anti-Christ will wage war on the Lamb of God. The Anti-Christ and his empire will be defeated and ultimately destroyed (Rev.17:14).
