This Is Not Bible Prophecy - It’s Just A Coincidence

There lived a man named Ingersoll Lockwood (1841–1918), an American lawyer, diplomat, and writer. He wrote several children's books, notably the Baron Trump novels, and a short novel that imagined a political upheaval in New York City.

On July 14, 2017, someone came across three of Lockwood’s books which have been compiled into a Collection of Three Books as follows:

1) Pages 1-284

TRAVELS and ADVENTURES of LITTLE BARON TRUMP and HIS WONDERFUL DOG BULGER (1890)

2) Pages 285-499

BARON TRUMP'S MARVELOUS UNDERGROUND JOURNEY (1893)

3) Pages 500-538

—1900— / THE LAST PRESIDENT (1896)

The First Two Books

The first two books are fantasy adventure stories about a young nobleman who embarks on time-traveling adventures and journeys into a mysterious underground world. He is accompanied on his travels by his faithful and protective dog, Bulger.

The young nobleman is named Baron Trump who lives in a lavish home called "Castle Trump". [Coincidentally, President Trump’s youngest son is named Barron Trump. The family's residence is Trump Tower in New York City].

The Baron Trump's full name is Wilhelm Heinrich Sebastian Von Troomp which implies German ancestry. [Coincidentally, President Trump family's roots trace back to Germany].

The fictional Baron has a mentor named "Don”. [Coincidentally, President Trump's first name is Donald. Don is a common nickname].

The fictional Baron Trump is portrayed as "precocious, restless, and prone to get in trouble". He often brags about his "massive brain" and has a personalized insult for most people he meets. [Coincidentally, these traits have been likened to the public persona and communication style of President Trump].

The fictional Baron Trump's adventures begin with a journey to Russia. [Coincidentally, this was seen as an odd parallel to the investigations and scrutiny surrounding Trump’s 2016 Presidential campaign ties to Russia].

The Third Book: —1900— / THE LAST PRESIDENT

In Lockwood's 1896 novel 1900 or, The Last President, the scene opens with the situation in New York in November 3, 1896. A political outsider, William Jennings Bryan, who represents the common people won the US Presidential election, and there is panic all around. Upper-class areas are paralyzed with fear, while mobs of anarchists and socialists lead the crowds flooding the Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, New York. Their main target of riots is The Fifth Avenue Hotel.

[Coincidentally, President Trump is a native New Yorker but is a political outsider. There were surprise and panic when he won as a populist candidate in the 2016 election (First Term: January 2017- January 2021). He lost his bid for re-election in 2020 but came back to win the 2024 election (Second Term: January 2025-January 2029). The wealthy elites were paralysed with fear and there were frequent protests at Trump Tower which is located not too far from The Fifth Avenue Hotel. The latter is long since demolished].

The fictional President appoints a man named Lafe Pence to his cabinet. [Coincidentally, President Trump's vice president was Mike Pence during his first term].

The fictional President faces immense opposition from the elites and political establishment leading to wide spread riots, civil unrest, and even a talk of rebellion against the Federal Government. [Coincidentally, in President Trump current second term, his administration is encountering mass protests by anarchists and socialists who flood the streets in many cities across America. They are expressing anger against the wealthy class as they see President Trump’s policies favour the rich even as he appoints wealthy businessmen and women to his cabinets. Furthermore, Trump’s policy of deporting millions of illegal immigrants allowed in under the previous Joe Biden Administration had infuriated many. Daily violent protests are being carried out against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents].

Sometime after the fictional President took office, the stock market collapses, businesses are shut down and banks begin to fail. Everything spirals out of control. Not only the financial system collapses but also the entire political structure. [At the time of the writing of this article the above scenario hasn’t happened yet. Notwithstanding, there are indicators expressing a sense of foreboding such as:

i) Rising inflation, massive and growing federal budget deficits;

ii) Decline in the value of the US dollar, a sharp rise in the price of gold, and foreign investors dumping US Treasury bonds; and

iii) Major banks reporting massive, unrealized losses on their bond portfolios].

At the closing of the novel, Lockwood describes the US Capitol is destroyed by dynamite. He reflects on whether the President is the nation's last and if the republic has ended for good, concluding that the "Republic of Washington was no more”.
